I can't believe how slow placed this show was in the early 90's But I hooked anyway

Ted Valentine may not have been the biggest NCAA travesty ever but he was sure as hell close. Lol

Curry Kirkpatrick claimed that Ricky Calloway put Bobby Knight on a pedestal. That’s not true. Calloway didn’t even consider himself to be a Hoosier. He said that he was a Jayhawk even though he only played at Kansas for one season.

Dakich and other idiots can say what they want…Bob Knight was nothing but classy toward IU. IU was not classy to Bob Knight.

Sophia Landon was EXCELLENT as Donna - it's like she taps into the exact same source of energy as Anna Stuart. No offense to the late Philece Sampler, but imagine if it had been Landon playing Donna from 1986-89 instead of Sampler.

I really think the original intent was for Cass to choose Kathleen. Frankie utterly betrayed his trust by not telling him. She was written as very cold and possessive in the early part of this storyline. So what happened was, they thought they could talk Julie Osburn into coming back longterm, but it wasn't possible to accommodate her outside work schedule--she wanted to do other roles. They realized that much as she loved the show (longtime fan) and the other cast members, she was determined not to get stuck being Kathleen for years, when her window for doing certain types of roles was limited. So they started shifting it towards Frankie being more sympathetic, Kathleen and Cass have grown apart (even though their chemistry was in many ways stronger than ever), and then Frankie found out she was pregnant, lost the baby, and Kathleen basically tells him to leave her for Frankie (probably once again she's one who really loves him--enough to give him up). And over the next few years, they tried to make Cass and Frankie work but the chemistry wasn't strong enough, and there wasn't any interesting personality conflict there. Barrett was loyal, reliable, good actress--it just didn't work. And Schnetzer was too important to the show to write them both out. (Same reason Kathleen had to be killed off, but in such a way as that she could return someday--no body). Then they needed a shocking character death for the serial killer storyline. This time there's a body, and it's not Days of Our Lives, so that was all for Frankie. Except she had to come back as a ghost to endorse Cass marrying Lila. It's hard for me to watch, because honestly, I'll never believe he loved any of them except Kathleen. The character arc for Cass was, he couldn't stand being alone. So if he couldn't be with the one he loved, he'd love whoever he was with.

I liked cali Timmons as both Maggie on Ryan’s hope as well as Paulina on another world. Her soap roles were a little better than her early early role in the movie hotel new Hampshire I remember my father took me to see that one actor rob Lowe was also in that film which was a terrible movie it’s interesting how actors and actresses are better off sticking with daytime then appearing in some of these dreadful movies. It’s to bad actor Jason Biggs didn’t stick with daytime but somehow wound up doing those overrated American pie films I only saw that first crap because the actress who played Erica’s daughter Bianca on all my children was in that plus I liked Jason on the superior as the world turns before he joined the inferior pie wow that’s two hours of my life that I can never ever ever get back stick with daytime all you Hollywood people

At 12:03, David Israel was right. UCLA basketball in the 60's and 70's was cheating big time, and should have gotten way worse than what SMU did.
